Who we are
Amy King Photography (ABN 28 830 667 803) is a family photography business run by Amy King in Camden and south-west Sydney, NSW. In this policy, "we", "us" and "Amy" mean Amy King Photography.
What we collect
- Details you give us in a form, by phone or by email: your name, mobile number, email address, preferred dates and times, the number and ages of people in your session, event details and any notes.
- Photos taken during your session or event.
- Payment records (we do not store card details on this website).
- Basic technical information our website host collects automatically, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure.
Why we collect it
- To check availability and reply to your enquiry.
- To send you a quote or proforma invoice and manage your booking and payments.
- To deliver your photos.
- To keep records we're required to keep by law (for example, tax records).
We won't send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Photos of you and your children
Your photos belong in your family. We'll only share your photos on our website or social media if you give us permission first. When you send a booking or quote request, there's a tick box for this. If you leave it unticked, your photos stay private. You can change your mind at any time by emailing or calling us.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only share it with services that help us run the business, such as:
- Our website host (Cloudflare) and email delivery service (Resend), which may store data outside Australia, including in the United States.
- Google Drive, which we use to deliver your photos to you.
- Google Sheets and Gmail (Google), which we use to prepare invoices and email them to you as PDFs.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Enquiry forms are sent over a secure (HTTPS) connection.
Accessing or correcting your details
You can ask to see, update or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Just email amy@amykingphotography.com.au or call 0407 664 139.

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first and we'll do our best to fix it. If you're still not happy, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
